Well....I have seen all three and black ops is the highest quality.....as far as materials, craftsmanship etc. The cf trufiber I heard was laminated cf over fg and heavier than the stock hood. It wasn't a true carbon. It also had a blem along the front and had to be shimmed with spacers. I believe robppms was the same. The trufiber hoods are made in china and the black ops are made by carbon by design in cali. This is all just my opinion from my experiences. Trufiber offers a quality product....but not black ops quality.

Re: Challenger Style Hood For The Jeep

you have SEEN them......on the internet maybe.

I have owned 2 and SEEN the third one on downstates jeep up close. touched it.

trufiber's quality is equal or better than any of them. and we know medics quality suffered after the first 20 or so. i had 2 of them.

then you double it for us Jeep guys..........

so...........like others have said, do like BlackOps did:

set a price for an AFFORDABLE Jeep hood, then we will take a poll and help you out with a group buy

until then

no thanks

I dont care if my hood comes with Tawnee Katane from the WhiteSnake video stretched out over it half naked at your prices!!!
I have to agree 110% here. You could sell them for one by one at $900, or group sell them at $600 on here. You'll have a lot more people on here repping your hoods, creating demand and more sales.

I've always liked the chally style hood, HOWEVER as an aftermarket hood, I would like to see one bigger. At least a 3" or so rise so it "pops" more, and functional vents ,maybe even hook it up as a ramair like this:

Now that would rock!

Re: Challenger Style Hood For The Jeep

i have to agree with the site here. most businesses cater to price based on competitors prices, rather than making something affordable to spark demand. tho i was discounted as well, the price paid was still more than almost any other hood presently on you website (fiberglass of course).

on the other hand, being one of the first purchasers of the trufiber charger hood (definitely not the first, but i would like to think i have have been in the first 10 or so), their quality is the best. you cant really see it from my signature, but the fit on this thing is unbelievable. i love this hood

in conclusion, i think if the prices were a little more consumer-cautious, then the demand would definitely be there. all the guys showing interest here should be enough, not to mention any other forum you may have posted this on.

but some people are all talk, so i dont blame you for not believing that there is a demand...........

Re: Challenger Style Hood For The Jeep

I would still rather a stock hood and $900 dollars in my pocket to take my boys out to the titty bar b4 i pay for overpriced parts no matter how great quality is...

bc if you say price is based on quality.. the are the other hoods for the other cars less quality...?

How about SRT-10 scoop, and make it ram air...
I think that would look sick..
