Re: Challenger Style Hood For The Jeep

In my experience,I have owned a FCF Venom hood, and it was flawless. The fitment was BETTER than my stock hood.I didn't think that was possible until I bolted it in place.I like Chad's products so much that I already am in line to get the Anti Venom hood.Everyone is pissbagging about the price. While no one here is rich, you do get what you pay for.My Jeep had a $51k sticker on it..so why should I get all bent over the price of a hood?Either you are gonna pay it,or move on.
The price is competitive, and the best quality I have ever seen.I have seen the other companies hoods up close and I laughed to myself.Only Chad gets my money, sorry. My .02.

Chad @ Black Ops makes top quality carbon fiber for the WK & WK2, many would agree with that too, you can usually find him shoot'n the shit with everyone here on the forums.

1 of the hoods he has out:

Ok, sorry to thread jack but thought you should know about Black Ops since you're in the same market.

Anyways! I already have an aftermarket hood (Black Ops: Venom) so I'm not interested in a Challenger hood - but the more options the better IMO.
How much did you pay for the Black Ops?

Re: Challenger Style Hood For The Jeep

Wow that was an interesting read to say the least. Although I think the Chally hood looks good................on the Chally and maybe the 300 and Charger. I don't think that it will look right on the Jeep do to the Cherokee lines. Pricing seems to be a big thing and it should when it comes down to it but with what I have seen in way of Jeep hoods I would tend to spend a little more to know that I am getting great quality and service after the sale!

Were you going to start an "official" group buy thread based on the above? Would the Charger style hood also be included?
