changing volt bulbs

so i installed my volt 6000k hids today, awesome kit,i just didnt like the color,to blue for me,it made my factory hids look lousy,so i called xenon depot and talked to them and they said they will ship me 5000k bulbs, they are interchangable between extreme and volt(good to know)ballasts,so i dont know if i made the right move on the 4300 or 5000,i know my hids are 4300 but i want a little color, also the extreme is a better bulb so thats why i picked the 5000k,do you guys think made the right choice on color??
p.s. my 6000k bulbs are for sale for 55$ the cost of replacements that will include shippping in usa, never used for more than 5 min
p.p.s.they h10 for the fogs(9145)

Re: changing volt bulbs

depends on preference but since you already disclosed that 6K is too blue for you (like many others) so the best bet would be the 5K. 5K has smallest amount blueish tint. after that is your factory 4300's. has a tiny bit of blueish hues but only at startup.

i have 5K in my headlights. been there with the 6K- after a day i went back to 5K. the stock 4300 for me was boring. needed a lil hue so the 5K was it.

Re: changing volt bulbs

I tried the 4300 and did not like them - they seemed yellow as compared to the HID headlights.
