Chrome Mirror Covers

I have a 2006 Grand Cherokee Laredo.

It is white and came white the chrome mirror and door handle covers. This is my first post on this forum, so appreciate the "noob" question help.

How do I remove these chrome plastic pieces?

They are not heated mirrors if that helps..

Any help is great!

Re: Chrome Mirror Covers

if they are covers they are just held on by some 3m tape. Heat em up a bit and you can use a flathead to pry em off

They look like covers. Jeep didnt have an option for chrome 4 that part. If you can take a picture of the front side of the mirror, I can 4 sure let u know if they r covers r not.

Re: Chrome Mirror Covers

yep, covers. I would rather paint the actual housing than the covers. I used to have the covers and felt it look bulky

Re: Chrome Mirror Covers

yep, carefully. Mine snapped and after that i decided to just paint the actual housing. Some heat and patience and it should be off.
