Nice! You should do your mirrors too
looks good! and agreed... do the mirrors white as well.. and add a black shorty antenna.

nice! liking your rims!

:D Thanks! I thought about the mirors, but I like how they blend in with the blacked out pillars/tint....might paint them black... slicker then the textured plastic, but not for a bit.

How much did it cost to get your wheels painted or powder coated?
I painted them myself  I used duplicolor paint match, picked it up from auto zone. the color is as close as automotive touchup, but i didnt have to order it,and its cheaper  the cans are smaller though(still cheaper) It took 3 cans of primer total (full size cans) and 2 full cans per wheel (those damn 22's)

Thanks guys !
I agree I don't like the amber bulbs when they're off however I do like them when they're lit. does anyone know if those "chrome" bulbs light up orange?
as for the mirrors, I don't like the look of white mirrors with the pillars & Windows so dark.
And as for anything else ,I don't know,I have been bitten really hard by the SRT bug....

OK, well rims aren't back on yet, a bad ball joint shredded one tire, which I just got, but I failed to notice a 2nd was to far gone as well   so it's on the way.

I decided to use nightshades to tint my turn bulbs. they blend better when off ,and still glow orange
pardon the dirty pics

Those headlights set it off! I don't think that you need to do the side mirrors.. Keep them black.

Glad to see you got rid of the amber.. Cant stand the way it looks. Your idea to nightshade the bulbs was very clever. I usually just buy silverstar bulbs since they look crystal clear off and are super bright when blinking.

Yes,I did it myself & it was a pain.
If you,or anyone , is planning to do them white like I did, i suggest getting a new set and doing those. My lenses looked totally clear when they were still chrome, but the white shows every little scratch. I wet sanded them with 800,1000,2000, then compounded them,& they aren't perfect. new would end up that much better, and you can still drive it while you're working on it.
A word of warning to anyone doing this in/ with a light color , be careful when resealing them! the sealant was so sticky I had to use a razor blade to hold it down and get my fingers off. Well I missed a little "stringy" couldn't see it ............ until I heated it back up   then I had to re open it and do it all over. P.I.T.A!!!!!

Is the chrome trim painted with white plastidip? Did you sand it or just strait apply it? I'm debating doing this as well. Same for the running boards and air dam.

#24 · (Edited)
the forth pic is the only one with the plasti dip the rest are done with PW1 aka Stone white. the chrome trim on the rear bumper and lower doors were sanded first.as were the rockers. the front lip is from the Mopar body kit ,so it was nice and smooth. if you're going to paint the stock textured one you will need to sand it.

I might have to try the white with glossifier. I just don't want it to look cheap primer-ish...

Get what you pay for!
