Custom switch panel in sunglass holder

I picked up some KC lights and was trying to figure out a good spot to mount the switch. I wanted something easy to get at and look factory. Seeing as i rarely use the sunglass holder i decided to turn it into a switch panel.

Picked up an extra console and ordered some individual switch holders. They clip together to form a solid piece

Pulled out a scrap piece of abs i had laying around and cut it to fit the sunglass area

Then decided to notch out the abs and sand the lip off the switch mounts so everything was flush. From there was just some body filler, icing, and a decent amount of sanding.

Primer paint and install will happen in a few days when the weather warms up. Ill add more pics once complete

Looks good, but IMHO, you can't beat the Steel Armadillo switch panel! Looks OEM and is a bolt on mod! Also under $25 shipped...

Fair enough. I was on the fence about the location too. But now that I have it installed, I wouldn't have it any other way!
