Re: Debadge Help

Yes very true, they basically have the origial paint under them. You want to use hairdryer on them and then pul a small piece of wire or fishing line and drag it under the letters to pop them off. Then you will have sticky residue, this is where the big and tar remover comes into play. Then buff, wax, repeat how ever long it takes. Then you can put your new letters on a fresh area

Re: Debadge Help

griggs, i totally agreee with that... i havent done my debadge yet but from cleaning other things, mostly bugs off the front of my WK... ive noticed the bug and tar remover is FAR better than goo gone. also works better on glass surfaces... goo gone failed to remove sticker residue that alcohol can.. the bug and tar remover took it off without a problem, barely had to use any force when wiping it off.

Re: Debadge Help

guys when you debadge and remove all the excess glue, PLEASE remember to compound and wax IMMEDIATELY. you are working with paint that has never seen the sun, you have GOT TO PROTECT IT.
