Re: Door Molding Swap

Back to the original question, how do I remove the big ass molding with out injuring the doors or the molding ? What tools should I use ?

Re: Door Molding Swap

I haven't ever removed the wide trim, but i would definitely try to find a plyable plastic wedge. be careful with using a screwdriver.

Re: Door Molding Swap

Its a great mod, the black stuff pulls off with bare hands. I spent a lot of time waxing and cleaning the 3M stuff at the bottom of the wider mldg. But its a great looking improvement.

Re: Door Molding Swap

are you planning on swapping out the black window moldings for chrome? I just finished swapping out my thick black door moldings for the chrome and it looks great! so does yours!

Thanks a lot, was thinking about it. I know that you cant do the rear window unless you replace the glass. But the aftermarket kit is reasonable for the 4 windows.
