Door trim panels and exterior chrome

Im lookin rid of all the chrome trim on the jeep. not a whole lot to swap.. but im lookin find someone or somewhere that has some decent prices on the trim on the exterior at the bottom of each door. i need the skinny style. cheaper to replace or paint.. also i need to remove my 65 anniversary badges. any suggestions there?

Re: Door trim panels and exterior chrome

send a pm to Scotts paint and performance in the vendors forums...I think his username is UR50slow or somehting like that. he can color match some moldings for you! As for the 65th badge....heat it up with a hair dryer and pull it off. Some poeple use fishing line to slide under the emblem and then use goo gone or similar to remove the adhesive.

Re: Door trim panels and exterior chrome

i use fishing line as scott suggested and a heat gun/ hair drier. i have found that bug remover made by sea foam is the best at removing adhesive. i would suggest trading the molding with someone since you can probably get the mioldings plus $100 or so for your chrome trim.
