eBay '08+ HID repro's

I have an '06 WK and am looking to upgrade to the '08+ style OEM HID headlights. I currently have HID's in my stock '06 housings (I know I know) and can't seem to find the OEM HID's for a decent price. I've found OEM style aftermarket '08+ projector housings on eBay new for $300+- (not those goofy looking spyder headlights, etc.). I would do a retrofit but, I can't stand the way the projector is not centered in the '05-'06 Halogen housings.

So, has anyone run the aftermarket OEM style ebay headlights? Is the projector total shit or is it pretty good?

I already have filler panels to take care of the gap, so there's no worry about that.

And just to clarify, this is what I'm looking at...

Re: eBay '08+ HID repro's

from what i heard the light output is pretty good for an aftermarket set. There are some threads with members doing this. Much better than HID halogen.

Re: eBay '08+ HID repro's

Ok, so it seems these should be more than adequate and blow my halogen/HID set-up out of the water. Worse case scenario later on I pop them open and toss in the OEM/Valeo projector.
