The one available is 5K WHITE 10 LED DRL/FOG LIGHT BULBS HB4 9006

Appreciate your opinion.......
Hey Connie,
Apologies for delay in response, was traveling ... in Greece

The H10/9145/9005 is more of a weatherpack style bulb & plug, whereas the H3 (like H1) is a little metal tab, so no they are not interchangeable. Do V-led stay 'out of stock' or 'back order', if they are out of stock and cannot be purchased then go for Xenon Depot, otherwise put in a back order.

PS I ship everything thats not too heavy from the States using Aramex "Shop and Ship" (they give you an NY forwarding address), very useful for US shops that do not ship abroad .

Thanks reply EtherealPonx - you should have dropped by so we could have a beer or two together........

In their site state that 'Availability: In Stock' but when i hit 'add to cart' it returns a message "The requested quantity for "5K WHITE 10 LED DRL/FOG LIGHT BULBS HB3 9005 H10 9145 | 1 PAIR" is not available". Don't know why this is happening.

What puzzles me is that the HB3 9005 and the HB4 9006 look exactly the same in the photo. Their specs are also identical. I've compared them and there are no differences.....

Re: Exterior V-led, info required please...

the tabs just under the bulb on 9005 and 9006 are different.
autolumination.com has pictures and measurements for all of that stuff.

not sure if xenon depot ships to greece but they are located in Canada not US.

Hey Connie, thanks would have enjoyed a beer or twelve! Or that famous stuff you call Raki ... It's got a way of messing you up and leaving you dancing randomly to Greek traditional music we stayed in Crete , Santorini and Athens, next time it's Mykonos

On the topic of v-LEDs, the international shipment for back orders does take some time, if one item in the shipment is on back order they hold the lot back (otherwise shipping would be costly, quite rightly so) , worth the wait though ....

Good luck!

Re: Exterior V-led, info required please...

hey Ethereal

just checked with VLEDS and they only list 5K WHITE 15 LED HIGH POWER BULBS 917 918 920 921 922 923 579 which is in backorder till 27/2 . The difference is that they are '15' instead of '19'. Are these the same with the daylight running lights you've got?? Thanks again !!!

Anyways, have done everything else except the indicators as I wanted to spend a bit of time considering I have to mount plates and install the resistors .. maybe over the weekend ..

Changed the Daylight running lamps, fogs, tail/brake lights. Couldn't change the reverse light as the export model is not a 921 (which is what I ordered), instead it is a the 3157 like the older 2005-2007 models .. the joy of owning an export model

here are some comparisons :

Left is V-LED 19 bulb 921 lights, right is OEM:

Right is the V-LED H10 Fog light, and left is OEM:

I will have to order the rear 3157 reverse lights separately, but will be busy enough with the indicators until then.

Hello Connie,

Sorry for the late response, been in Saudi for a few days (work obviously).

I just checked and it seemed they removed the 921 bulbs that I ordered (the 19 LED ones). I would say the 15 ones look very similar and will probably have the same output as the ones I have. considering they both have a V-LED output rating of '5', I would say you would struggle to tell the difference.

Once thing I did notice however is that sometimes when I leave the car running for a while I noticed that only the front part of the lights are on and the sides turn off, this is either an energy saving thing, an issue with Canbus or faulty designs (they may be aware of this and hence suspended the production perhaps).

Other than that every other V-LED product and the service I received is outstanding, I would go for the 15 in your case (assuming the US model also has DRL and is a 921 socket : ) ).

Good luck!

Re: Exterior V-led, info required please...

Hello ....i have an export model like you as i leave in Greece so the bulb specs should be the same. Frankly, all other leds i've installed interior and exterior are only giving me headaches....a few months back, my rear dome led started flickering (flashing) from time to time, and after a few weeks both license plates' leds did the same thing. I ordered new ones from ebay but after a few days the same. I had to change the leds two times but the same story after few days. I was so much upset that yesterday i changed them to normal bulbs.

What you say now about the day running leds seems to be the same or a similar issue. I will have to reconsider it because the last thing i want is to be around the car fixing problems on daily bss......

Ah, of course remember now the same export model

I think you may have a Canbus issue. I also had flickering in my interior trunk light and installed one bulb which is can bus enabled, and that sorted the problem. Did you install any Canbus lights?

I inly have one canbus installed (on the drivers foot well). I once had a canbus issue but i replaced it with a new one and everything was ok. Could a problematic canbus make some of the leds flicker ?? I mean i have the interior, the license plate all leds but only the licence plate's and left rear dome flicker. I bought the set from ebay not from v-leds 'cause i didn't know the socket numbers. Maybe bad quality ?? Speaking of which, do you know the socket number of the license plate leds ? Maybe i will try buying a couple of them from v-leds to test....

i found them 194 5K WHITE 6 LED HIGH POWER 360 170LM | 1 PAIR - 194 158 168 - License Plate Lights - Bulb Type but i don;t know if they will fit......
