Re: fender flares for the wk?

I was looking for some as well, these were the only ones I found

2005 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee Chrome Fender Trims | eBay

http://www.ebay.com/itm/05-07-08-09-...22b57c&vxp=mtr

could paint them I suppose if wanted to color match or make them black. maybe even bed liner for off road protection.

Yaa not exactly what I was looking for. I was looking for more of the off roading style to make the jeep look more beefy. But thanks

Re: fender flares for the wk?

I have been looking at fender flares as well, but I decided against it after talking to a local guy who does alot of bodywork. In his opinion, he did not recommend the flares because they tend to trap water, dirt and debris, which can lead to the fender itself rusting, especially during winter months where MODOT applies salt to icy roads. I guess with proper care, it would not be an issue, but I decided not to take the chance. Hope this helps you in making your decision.

Re: fender flares for the wk?

I could totally see that being a problem but up here in Washington they don't put salt or I don't think they do. I still would like to see a pic with a jeep that has it.

Re: fender flares for the wk?

That brown jeep looks awful. Your can obviously tell how the rear doesn't fully flow with the body lines.
