Im gonna have everything done right at some point, but im in college and work part time at best buy so moneys tight. I had to spend the money to get this stuff in it cause I need the lights and stuff. Plus I just spent a nice chunk of money on tires. Soon the switches will be moved, then im gonna redo where the scanner is...

Re: First WK used for emergency response?????

You may want to add some lights on the side of your car. And have 2nd color to them. Some officer researched the use of emergency lights and found that blue is easier to see in the day time and red is easier to see at night. That is why police have both blue and red lights.

Re: First WK used for emergency response?????

Thanks man! Well I just got home after a call and we are having some bad weather here, I put the jeep 10 feet down into a ditch but she took the hit like a pro, called one of the other fire fighters who's also a plow driver and we used his tri-axle plow truck to pull it out. Got it out, got the snow off and drive ithome, no problems what so ever, drive safe everyone!

Re: First WK used for emergency response?????

a big part of the reason i'm buying an 09 Overland is because like you, i can't not make it places because of the weather. O'm a Police Officer so not getting to work in bad days is not an option, lol.

Re: First WK used for emergency response?????

Yea, I had a 2006 Acura TL, it was awesome and fun but it cost so much to insure and I couldn't go anywhere in the winter
