What a great day today in Colorado to change out the front bumper and side skirts. Can't wait to get the rear bumper next week to complete the body panels.

Thank you Scott.

Thanks robpp. Definitely a snow plow now. I got up this morning, removed the front SRT Eibach springs and reinstalled the front OEM SRT springs to give me a little more clearance. It sits a bit more level but I'm happy with it.

Thanks for the compliments. Now if I could only get my rear bumper. I bought it from a company that uses Greyhound Express and it's been three weeks already. No bumper. Their dispatch tells me that it is probably getting bumped off the bus because of its size whenever they need room for luggage. Ugh!

Do you park over in a plaza on Pecos street? I was getting a system put in my jeep and saw a truck that looks like this.

JHutch,
Besides the bumper you will need everything on the list below. I did not reuse any retainer pins. Here are the parts I ordered. I also purchase two new fog lights since there were a couple of cracks in the plastic lenses. You will need to reuse the two torx retaining screws from your old fog lights to install the new ones since they are not included.

- Bottom Grill Insert (Item # 5030066AB)
- Chrome Strip Insert (Item # 5030069AB) $160
- Bracket (Item # 5029991AB)
- Push-Type Retainer Pins (9) (Item # 6503598)
- Front Fender Liner Extensions (Item # 5030266AB & 5030267AB)
- Front Supports (2) (Item # 5030620AA)
- Front Support Bolts and Nuts (Qty 2 - stainless steel M8-1.25x30 and nuts) I only needed two bolts since I reused two where the supports attach to the front skid plate.

I think I purchased everything above from here:

Factory Mopar Parts Online

To reattach the finder liners and extension pieces I bought a plastic rivet tool gun and a box of 50 plastic rivets on eBay. The part number for the rivets is 13750. Here's the link.

50 Black Nylon Blind Rivets 14063981 N803043 s 6500911 13750 | eBay

Let me know how it all turns out.

bxcharger,
Nope. That wasn't me.

Ha! Thanks for the offer but they're already on! It's hard to tell from the "after" photos but the OEM roof rails are gone. So much better.

#21 ·
Ok, cool....thought I would offer as I have parts sitting in the garage.

#24 ·
I still have them I'll take some pics and PM you.

Thanks Bob. I don't even notice the difference between the OEM SRT springs and the Eibachs in the way it handles. I still have the stock sway bar in the front and I've never felt the need to change it to matcb the SRT sway bar in the rear. It does sit a tad more level and I love the look. I also have no issues with the camber on my front end alignment. I am also glad to have a little more height clearance for the front bumper. Highly recommend this setup.

As for JOTM, there are too many amazing Jeeps on this site for me to enter right now. Plus i have a few more mods up my sleeve I'm working on. One day for sure. I appreciate the vote of confidence.

What kind of mods are going on in your world?

Currently no mods. Saving money in case I get accepted to school. Fingers crossed. However I have been "windows" shopping for Viper Replica wheels, front srt sway bar and new sway links on the rear. Mostly I look at what other guys are doing and thing, "I wish I could do that'"
