Re: good leather protector

I've always had good success with Meguiar's products.

Bickmore Products. Bick-4

Bickmore | Products
Apparently this stuff is over a 100 years old and was formulated for saddles, harnesses and such.

I am 47 years old, a country boy and biker so I have had a LOT of leather boots, jackets, bike and car seats, so on over the years and tried many conditioner products.
I went to a western store and bought new pair of boots a few weeks ago and they recommended a conditioner I had never tried before. Seemed to work nice and leather liked it but they were new boots so hard to tell for sure. Blackj boots in the salt and slush first night out. Totaly water poofed and no white salt crap on them the next day that didnt just wipe off. Sweet.
So decided to try it on my favorite leather biker jacket thats well over 20yrs old and pretty dried out and just not nice feeling any longer. One wipe down with this stuff is all it took to totally renew my most favoritist leather! The next morning it nice and dark black, felt soft and just plain nice.
Also, it doesnt leave a slippery, greasy feeling like many products do. I will be using it on all my seats and saddle bags. when I get back to Michigan.
