Hids in headlights..

I had a question, now normally I'll do a retrofit but I wanted to know has anyone used rebased d2r bulbs in stock 07 headlights? These bulbs go in non projector cars just wanted to know if anyone has any experience with them?

Re: Hids in headlights..

Damn thats alot of money. You can just get a regular hid conversion kit and get a lower color temperature. Ive had 8000's in my jeep for 2 years and never had any problems with the law and they light up everything. If you dont like them as blue try 6000 or 5000

Re: Hids in headlights..

Just wondering what the cut off looks like since the bottom of the bulb is shielded.

Re: Hids in headlights..

you will need D2 ballasts to go with those bulbs as well....so add that to the cost.

Re: Hids in headlights..

just buy the 15 dollar cables scott. ds2 to HID ballast for a better word.

they are on that same site. big reg round end for the D2S.

I ran 4 of them on my wk thats how I know. so ANY HID ballast should work.
