How to reset vehicle information center

The buttons on my vehicle info center aren't working...probably after I had my head unit installed. Any thoughts on how I can reset it or something without bringing it back to the stereo shop?

Re: How to reset vehicle information center

They probably did not reconnect the info center wire harness. You can remove the cover over the radio by gently prying it off, then you will need to pop off the chrome trim around the shifter in order to remove the bottom plastic piece around the shifter. Then you will be able to remove the information center and see behind it. I know for my head unit I mounted the Bluetooth receiver behind the info center so it's possible they disconnectd it.

Re: How to reset vehicle information center

well if it had to do with the head unit install, I'd save yourself some headache and go back and tell them your stuff hasn't worked since they got into it.

I'm sure they would be happy to fix it.

yup that's sort of what I figured, wanted to double check there wasn't any sort of button combination or something to press in the event it was just frozen. Thanks guys!
