Yes' the canbus led has a resistor in it to make sure it turns off all the LEDs completely. He is out of stock right now on the kits.

Re: Interior LED Review

Where exactly does the canbus LED install? I noticed a few of mine glowing this morning, so I might go ahead and order this.

The canbus led looks similar to a normal led bulb, except it has a resistor installed on it. When you install the canbus, it will eliminate the glow you're getting. Its no different to install than a reg bulb. Pull the old one out and pop the new one in.

Re: Interior LED Review

seems odd that a someone is selling a kit that supposedly works in 2008-2010 grand cherokees, yet it still needs an additional bulb, why not just include all the needed components?

I may be wrong, but I think this was just added to the seller's advertisement on ebay...

****Sometimes LEDs give off a slight glow when not in use. This is normal since LEDs are so efficient that they light with the smallest power supply that is always going through your sockets. You just never see it due to regular bulbs needing much more power to light. This is perfectly normal and harmless. I find the very faint glow very nice. This will happen with any type of LED no matter the type or brand.****

Re: Interior LED Review

No that was there before. I guess I'll contact him for the vanity lights, glovebox light, and CANBUS LED as well.

Re: Interior LED Review

I also ordered the kit, thinking it had everything. Now I wish I did not.

You DO NOT need the canbus LED for the leds to work. Mine did not have the glow he said they operated completely normally and turned off when they were suppoed too. I just ordered it to test it out. That has been there when i ordered the bulbs.

Well it has everything he listed on the eBay listing, but if you want to do a full conversion, you'll need the glove box LED and a set of LEDs for the actual vanity mirrors...
