Re: Interior LED Review

Did you get an email from the seller with links to the install instructions?
I just opened my light kit and you have 1 bulb different than my kit, did you ask for a canbus bulb? Maybe that is the difference with my kit.

As the previous poster stated the difference between your two kits is the canbus led.

Re: Interior LED Review

I got install email but it does not show. What bulb goes where, I ordered the canbus one. I know what looks like but the three bulbs at are round with two dots on top are not like the ebay ones with the five led bulbs. Do the round flat one go under the dash. If this the same bulbs all you guys got then fine if not I will hope to email seller

I ordered this kit a few weeks back. I love how it looks! But I did have to add some led strips in the rear cargo area for extra light. I received a kit without the canbus as I didnt think it was necessary. I do get a very small amount of glow in the footwell areas only. Which isn't too big of a deal for me. But I can tell you the 3 round bulbs with the two dots in the middle are for the footwells up front and the rear cargo area light. The other 3 bulbs with the canbus that matches are 5 LEDs, and they are for the lights above the rear seat on each side and for the license plate. I would put the canbus with one of the others above the rear seat area. Then put the other 2 in for the license plate. Obviously the bigger square set is for the front. Hope that helps!

Re: Interior LED Review

You can pretty much put the bulbs where ever you want besides the front map lights.

Unhappy Re: Interior LED Review

Well,
I guess installing led bulbs are harder than changing the oil, I can not get the bulbs to work at all. I popped out the driveside bulb out put in the new led bulb it did not light up turned it around still did not work try all the same type that fit in there did not light up. So I moved to the overhead bulbs I put in the 15 led flat one it did not light up. I do not know what to do. I put the regular bulbs back in and they ligth up so it is not a fuse problem. What next??????

Re: Interior LED Review

are you sure they are making contact correctly. It was literally a 5 minute install. make sure the connections are making proper contact.

I push them up in there it is a nice tight fit. Will led bulb work with a regular bulb on the other footwell still in or change in pairs to work?

Re: Interior LED Review

Try flipping them they won't operate if the positive, or negative isn't on the right side.

Re: Interior LED Review

They should work no matter what bulb combination you use. I noticed on my cargo led i had to bend the connectors on the led outwards a ltitle bit to ensure a night tight conenct. When in doubt try another bulb they can all work .
