You might want to call around your area, but a custom shop next to my job actually has a guy that tints lights with black kandy paint.

Candy is a type of coating process where you put two layers of different colored paint to make the vehicle shine two different colors.

To tint lights all you do is mix a little black in some clear then spray. Leaves a glossy finish

Actually candy is a translucent paint that is generally sprayed over metallic bases. It gives depth as well as color, It is traditionally painted over a gold or silver base coat. Mixing black and clear dilutes the black color. Alot of paint companies sell tints that are added to clear to make alternatives to candy. To make vehicles shine two different colors the paint either needs to have a pearl mixed in it, like the white that Cadillac Escalade comes in, or actual color changing chameleon paint.
