black out the grill
i thought about doing this as well but was concerned about the durability. are they going to mar when i scrub the bugs off and look bad? is it a fall and winter only mod? lol. you see what i mean?
no its a laminate vynl, very durable and thick. i bought it from an exclusive supplier in ann arbor, local sale only..
i washed the truck may be better pics. and it will not mar at all. if it scratched alittle, put it in the sun and it fuses back together. pretty wicked stuff.
Nice job with the lights. For the last few weeks I have been thinking of tinting my headlights and fog lights. Still not sure about it since I have a 6k HID kit on the headlights. How does this affect your light output so far?
i have oem bulbs in mine and its not bad. i'm going to go with a 4k for a little more output. shouldn't affect oncoming because the tint reduces glare highly.
lamin x is ok, but its better to find a roll and cut yourself. Installing the pre cut stuff is much more difficult than just a roll. alot of heat and stretching is needed my brother tried it on his car and the pre cut didn't even fit close at all, was smaller than the face of the light
