MDS light

How hard is it to put on a MDS light?? 2006 limited 5.7 wk .thanks

Re: MDS light

It's a piece of cake. I initially came up with this back in 2005 for the Hemi LX vehicles over on the LXForum. If you haven't seen the "How To" over there, here is the ref. under my screen name over there, "magnuman":
Installation of a MDS ON Indicator Light

Since my initial thread there have been a few updates and changes also. The wiring on the LX is the same as on the WK and the job is actually easier on the WK, because of the pass through on the firewall right behind the PCM/TCM on the right fender well. You can pass the wires through there and route them behind the glove box and over to where you mount your light. Here is a pix of where I mounted mine on the WK. I have also changed the location on my LX from the initial install so it is about the same place as the WK.

Thanks looks good ,I liked were it was mount ed that's what caught my eye one guy I saw put his outside...did not get that idea.I will check it out.
