New headlights!

Ordered some new blacked out headlights! Wondering if anyone knows of a good video on YouTube showing have to replace the entire headlight assembly! I've looked with no success and heard from some people the bumper needs to be removed.

Any help would be appreciated!

Re: New headlights!

The bumper removal is such an easy process... I don't understand why everyone avoids removing the bumper. Why not just do it really quick and make life a lot easier?? If you remove the bumper the bolts are so easily accessible.

I've taken mine off several times while I was working on my retrofit.

Did you have any other advise? And where are the bolts?

On step 4 I'd reuse the plastic rivet. No need to cut them.

On step 6 there are 3 plastic clips in the lower valence and 4 behind (2 per side near the fog light)

Super easy. If it doesn't come off don't yank it just figure out what is hung up. Probably just a screw that was missed. Once you do it the first it's very simple. Make sure to set the screws aside in bundles and label if you need to.

Should be adjustment knob(s) in the back or an allen socket on the top (depends on the manufacturer). You'll turn them to raise the beam up and down as needed.

Re: New headlights!

Great stuff.

I just bought my first Jeep, an 05 Limited with Hemi. I plan to swap out the headlights as well.

Thanks!!!
