ok for you guys interested in swapping the drivers side seat with the passenger side seat bottom, it cannot be done without a nut sert (riv sert) tool. Here are some pics...

underneath of my 2008 seat bottoms, after I removed them from the seat frame, at a glance it looks like an easy swap...
seat bottoms side by side.jpg

but then upon closer inspection, the drivers side seat had nut serts in different location than the passenger side seat, I circled in red the differences.

Passenger's seat bottom underside

so, I'm going to get a nut sert tool and try again later, but I wanted to pass this along before someone else tried the swap!

feel free to add to my "reputation"!

Re: P.O.S. Larado X "leather" seats !

a bit late in updating this thread.

I bought one of these nut riveters months ago Tool connection 0979 Nut Riveter + 40 Nut Rivets ( Laser ) - Amazon.com

and finally (over the xmas break) I installed the nuts that would allow me to swap the seat cushions.

I made sure to unhook the negative cable on the battery before working on the seats and did the swap in about 90 minutes. I could have been faster but the nut riveter didn't include instructions so I had to figure out how to to use it myself. I used 4 size M6 of the nut rivets.

At the moment I only have wrinkles in the cushion bolsters so I'm very happy that I did the swap before the cushion bolster cracked open. My seats should now be fine up until I sell the vehicle.
