and yes the OEM 3m tape on the mirror covers sucks, needs thicker tape to stick well.

I paint textured mirrors all the time, in fact I just did a set on a Mustang build we just did. I'll be painting mine (with a bonus) when I paint my truck this summer. Just have to find the right shop that's all.

Re: paint matched mirror covers

with the way others disrespect mirrors i think its SAFER and CHEAPER inthe long run to buy the covers and have them painted. if they get messed up, ou yank them off, send out for a paint job and you are back in biz.

I want chrome ones. If anyone wants Light Graystone Pearl (PDA) ones, spend me a PM

X2, had two shops quote me on mine. One didnt want to do it unless they could disassemble and reassemble just cause it wasn't worth it for them to paint only. Other shop did it for $150 out the door, real nice job. For the price of covers, just take mirrors to a shop for paint, you wont regret it

Re: paint matched mirror covers

How much did you guys who painted the chrome covers pay to get them painted?
