Re: painted my calipers

sorry that youre so thin skinned man you are gonna have problems in life if you let little things like this bother you. i did say i was sorry it was my first word. I am entitled to an opinion and to me its not what works for me ( i know you didnt ask) You have to figure that when you post stuff others are going to comment on it, like it or not, thats just the way it is. so again i AM sorry that i offended you i do realise its alot of work to paint the calipers thats why i havent done it. in retrospect i should have said i like the calipers but dont care much for the wheels. and yea i did migrate from the red site not for the asshole factor, mainly for being outclassed factor. As in i cant afford to buy a new str8 every year or have 2 of them etc.,etc. hope were cool...ken

Re: painted my calipers

I love the rims what kind are they I would like to see if they come in a smaller size since I plan on going up with some 265-65 17's, and it looks like you went down. I'm kinda picky, and i've been looking everywhere my only other choice are the AEV's.
BTW-The calipers look awesome I'm looking forward to doing that when I need brakes.

Re: painted my calipers

rims are giovanna Dalars i dont think they go any smaller than 20's.... i had to have mine custom drilled because giovanna does not carry/manufacture our lug pattern

Re: painted my calipers

hey JR, i know i should just let this go, but if nothing it gets my post count up lol. Ok so i went back and took a second look at the wheels, from the pic u reposted, cuz it was too big
and honestly from a distance they do look better than i originally thought. I based my opinion on just that first pic up close.anywho, guess theres not much 4 wheelin in yer future huh?

naw no 4 wheelin for me.... i do 95% of my driving on pavement so i choose to go with the "street" look and plus i didnt spend $38000 on a vehicle to just go tear it up on gravel and muddy roads.... i take care of my stuff and make it last

You can off road a jeep and take good care of it and make it last. Unless your name is Gary and try repeatedly to sink it. I have had mine for 7 years and plan on keeping it for a long, long time.

Re: painted my calipers

Looks great, suits your white theme brilliantly.

What paint did you go for? I used G2 caliper paint on mine and nearly one year later it still looks great and is a breeze clean.
