Thanks it wasn't too bad to do all the removable parts I took out and painted separately but the dash parts I taped off the interior with newspaper and painted them. I definitely need touch it up in a few places im not an expert painter and I plan to do it in the summer with some more heavy duty paint. I just used some krylon plastic paint seems to be holding up good though cause I didn't even really prep it all that well and I haven't had any pealing I bought some heavy dutier paint though and an adhesion promoter for when I redo it I'm gonna sand down the painted parts to get rid of the fake leather texture so it's smooth in the parts that are painted. Total cost for painting was like 10 bucks

Also curious to the kind of paint you used. I'm doing a project and will need to repaint my radio surround with a paint that I want to look as close to stock finish as possible.

Re: painted wk interior

i used krylon paint for plastics with the satin finish, its still holding up pretty good since i did it and i definitely didint prep the way i was supposed to so im actually very happy with it, i think when it gets warm im gonna sand it all down and paint it properly so because there are a few parts that i was lazy with when taping and didnt spray it good. also i didnt use a adhesion promoter or a clear coat and the paint is still holding up, for a better result though i think when i do it again ill use the adhesion promoter so it holds to the plastic good

Re: painted wk interior

The interior really looks good. Not a fan of the Wheelskin, doesn't fit the shape of the wheel spokes, too generic.

Where did you get your fogs from? And did you get an Hid kit for them?

Re: painted wk interior

not to hijack the tread but there was some talk about steering wheels earlier, i just ordered a startech one like this from a friend in euro...I'll have it installed in a month or so when it finally makes it's way across the pond, but this might be an option for people..only available in black though which is why i'm keeping an eye on this thread, trying to come up with some ideas to handle the two one look since my steering wheel will be black and grey..

that actually looks really cool, keep me posted on the install and all of that

also i agree about the wheel skin it doesnt fit perfect but its better than stock and i like how thick it makes the wheel, basically it was the best solution i could come up with beside buying a new wheel (and if i did that the stock leather is crap and doesnt match my interior anymore)

the fogs are stock with flashtech halo rings in them and i didnt put an hid kit in, considering it though i cant decide i like the yellowish tint they have when there on compared with the headlights, butttt it would be nice to have them all match perfectly
