Painting At Home

I got the idea of Painting the bottom parts of my jeep Limited. Its the side bars that look like black plastic on the sides on the bottoms. I wanted to paint them the color of my car Inferno Red. Does anyone know where to buy inferno red paint to match the car? And also im new to the whole paint thing so? Could someone thats done it before tell me kinda how to do it? Like should i use a "spray" paint or a different kind? Like what brand and do i apply the paint directly onto the boards? Or do i need to put a coat of something on to make it the same texture? And do i just finish off with a clear coat?
Thanks a ton!

You will need 4 things from them. 1) Adhesion promoter 2)primer 3) paint 4) clear

Sand first and then apply those 4 things in that order. Check the How to forums, there are plenty of step by step instructions there.

Good luck.

X2 and it will look great if you take your time! The prep work is the most important
