Anyone know if it's possible to install a police car style spotlight in the driver's side windshield pillar? Or are there going to be problems with the airbag systems?

I don't see why not, but the side curtin air bag would have to be worked around.

Remove the airbag and sell it. (really don't do that)

You could do it through the roof if anything. Though I think water issues might result from that one.

Look, there's a difference between speculating what "might" be possible and actually providing an answer. But speculating when there's an airbag involved is a risk that can have deadly consequences. So being wrong isn't an option. Hey, I just wanted to find out if someone had actually DONE it, that's all.

Surely the WK is used somewhere in the US as a cop car?

If you really want it simply remove an A pillar trim and see where the bag or bag charge canister is. It's not rocket science. You could even PM "Robpp", he's had his pillar trim off a million times.

I dont think it would be to hard to run the tube under the airbag, the actual pivot is inside a tube and actuates on either side of said tube, plus the actual handle does not stick out to far so when the bag deployed I dont think it would matter anyway.

how is it deadly??? you would take off the negative terminal before working on any electronics anyway. because of that, the airbags wouldnt blow............ besides they are in the roof anyways. why ask the question if you think you already know the answer and are going to reject any tips offered??

Yes and no lol, the bags can still blow even with the negitive terminal disconnected, when we respond to a car accident the first thing we do to the effected cars is cut the battery terminals and then find a way to discharge any power remaining in the system weather it be stepping on the brakes a few times or turning on the running lights. Then ya gotta give the bags 30 seconds to a min to make sure its safe to go in, they are real touchy, so never assume just cause the batterys not connected they won't go off, they could!
