Re: Plasti Dip on Dark Red

They are made by black horse. I'm not really sure what model they are, but I'm pretty sure they aren't made for jeeps, bc the steps don't match up with the doors that great. I got them from an "auto accessory" place

Re: Plasti Dip on Dark Red

you might need to sand it down for it to adhere correctly but what do I know. Try it without sanding first on one door and if it holds up, great, if it doesn't, peel it off and sand it down

Agreed.

Inferno was only 2005/2006/2010 I believe.

Re: Plasti Dip on Dark Red

I've used plasti-dip on PVC pipe and it adheres perfectly. You don't need to sand down the plastic parts, just spray and go. Works great and looks great!

+1. I've plasti dipped my wheels and emblems, and a couple other small things. Only thing I did to prep was clean the area then let it dry. After that, spray away!

Re: Plasti Dip on Dark Red

+1 don't sand just make sure the surface is clean. If you sand it makes it a permanent solution and thats the beauty of plastidip if you get tired of it or it gets scratched you can just peel and redo it or return it to stock.
