Re: Plasti Dipped Steering Wheel Logo

How did you clean up the area around the jeep lettering so good without hitting the letters?

Re: Plasti Dipped Steering Wheel Logo

very nice!

i just did my hood "JEEP" emblem this past weekend. I'm still up in the air if i want to go ahead and do the rear emblems too.

Either way that stuff is amazing and so simple to remove.

It just peeled around the letters like normal, I used a tooth pick to get by the "J" and the "E's"

Yes this stuff is great! In the process of doing some more pieces. I did both my front and rear emblems and debadged the 4x4 and laredo ones. Looks a lot cleaner, check mine out in the Member's rides and you'll see my Build thread

I messed it up the first time when I did 3, I pulled it off too soon. The 2nd time around I did 4 coats and let it dry a good 45 mins before peeling it off.

Re: Plasti Dipped Steering Wheel Logo

I got a little addicted to PlastiDip when I first started using it... but this is something that I overlooked...thanks for the idea I'll def be doing it....I did all the wood grain in the interior. It came out great, and with a very stock look.
