yep...pretty common on the WK's. You can use back to black or a similar product or paint it. It pops off real easy

Back to Black restores the black plastic really well but like most trim dressings needs to be reapplied after a few months of rain or car washes. I live in South Louisiana & have yet to find anything that will hold up more than a few months.

Try using Detail Doctor Instant Restorer. Its available at CVS in "As seen on TV isle" The product is put out by Danny "The Count" Koker from TV's Count's Kustoms on the History Channel.
Its Excellent!
You will love this stuff. Black will be black again. It will make all colors look new.

Re: Plastic on the top of the rear bumper fading!!!!

I used a Rustoleum spray paint that is a primer and paint in one and made for plastic. Just painted mine gloss black and it worked great. Think I clear-coated it too with a few coats.

Re: Plastic on the top of the rear bumper fading!!!!

I don't have a picture. I have used it and I will continue to use it, it makes the finish have a luster that stays.. My brother is using it now, he took my bottle. I have a 25% discount coupon from CVS for this weekend, I'll go in Saturday and pick up a new bottle and get that 25% discount. I love those coupons at CVS.
