I'm not sure i am either.. that's why i only did it to my spare tire, the paint peels right off as well, so i don't know.. I'm thinking about trying black on Wednesday.

If your going to paint the wheels blue, get a color matched paint. I went to automotivetouchup.com and got coor matched spray paint. Also make sure you clean the rim with tar and grease remover, sand it, prime it, then lay down your base. Don't just throw paint on it.

I did clean it well but I was u sure to sand it. Just regular sand paper and what to prime it with?

X2 on the look. To answer your sand paper question, they have a kit you can buy. Includes 5 different grits. Works awesome. I just haven't decided what to paint. Wanna get my wheels in first.

Clean those tires up and it'll look good. Mines blue too so take a pic of those black wheels when you put them on!
