I took it off .its easy to do just remove 4 popup clips then gentley pry up with a screwdriver on the plastic piece little at a time

I used the vht spray on mine. Been a few years so i need to touch em up

I like the brush on kind: no overspray, and you can paint the calipers right in place. That's just me.
