But I'll let you know.

This is the app:

Looks legit. I just might have to snag one.

Re: Poor man's WK mod thread

If it works even half, it's probably worth it. Once I actually see it, I might shell out the $ for the recommended version.

I used dash command a in my 05 hemi and could use all the features but now in my 08 diesel not all the features work. But still well worth the money in my opinion

Re: Poor man's WK mod thread

Looking for advice...

Have an 06 GC Overland with platinum grille and mesh...but would like to change it to black.

If I try painting it myself, does it need to be sanded or can I paint right over? What's the best paint? I currently have some duplicolor for touchups. Would black plasti-dip look ok? If painting should I just bring it to a body shop?

OR

Should I just spend a little extra and buy a black grille and change out the mesh for the cleanest look and keep the platinum one? I think I'm leaning towards this option...

I personally like a BLACK grille... You can try and plastidipping it before you go all out and buying the black one

2 light coats of PD then go for 2 3 heavy coats of it.. 2 cans max.. so 15 bucks? If you don't like it just peel it off and boom back to stock. Maybe later on you paint it or buy a new one for a more finished look.

Re: Poor man's WK mod thread

I'd be worried about the strength of the seats and headrests, do you think it could be an issue? I know the seat will hold my weight pushing it back in any event, but mine and a passengers? Don't get me wrong, I think it's sweet and I want some too now, but I don't want to get something broken along the way. What do you think?
