Problem replacing the exterior incandescent bulbs with LEDs

Hi Eveyone:
Tired of replacing bulbs in my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee I decide to replace all of them, except the headlights and the foglights, with LED bulbs. (I already did the same witth all the interior bulbs)
I choose Sylvania ZEVO, and was and relatively simple job. To fix the hyper flashing I install 50W 6 ohm resistors. Very bright bulbs, looks terrific.
However, I find myself in a struggle trying to replace the stop lamps.
My WK has the three bulbs tail light. The upper is a combination parking/stop, the middle is a combination parking/turn and the bottom one is the back up lamp.
Well, all work just fine, except the upper one.
The problem is the design of the tail lights. They didn't have the usual lamp socket, but a kind of circuit board where the lamps are squezzed in.
This design provides two negative contacts in the same side of the parking/stop lamp receptacle, so the LED lamp only works as parking light if I place it in a way, or as stop lamp if I install in the reverse way. The lamp never works as intended, so I have to redistribute the contacts accordingly and to do that I have to disassemble the circuit boad.
Somebody has ever take apart this circuit board? Doesn't look an easy task.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Ah.... Happy New Year for all!:thumbsup:
Andy

Hi this has been discussed several times before chrysler and some other manufacturers used a 3156/57 lamp with a different pin configuration Srk i think its called. Limiting the leds available .
If you are carefull you can remove the base and relocate the wires in the correct locations , tail and stop light on one side earths on the other.
Do a google search .

Hi roddaz:
Thanks for the advice.
In fact, I have done the job already.
Here's a pictures of it.
Now the upper parking/stop light LED bulb work as intended.
It's necessary to cut two plates of the circuit board and remove part of the plastic cover of the plates to solder two wires to rearrange the socket tabs.
In the second picture, between the soldering point of the black and red wire showed in the top part of the photo the circuit plate was cutted, and in the lower part of the picture the circuit plate was cutted between the two left side tabs of the socket.
Thanks again.
Andy
