Progamming used Key Fob

So I was thinking of buying a used key fob of ebay on the cheap, putting the electronic part back into my key and having it programmed. I am doing this because I fried one of the integrated circuits when trying to solder the stupid battery terminal piece and found a key that is cut for very cheap, so I figured I could use the parts from the cut key and scrap the actual metal key.

Would there be a problem trying to program a key that has been programmed before for another jeep?
