Re: Project Ground Pounder SRT Wide-Body Clone

And should I use 3mm or 5mm LED bulbs for the heater control unit? I will pick up some white LED bulbs from the Radio Shack near me for cheap. I did buy the 3mm blue ones because they look like the same size as the stock bulbs in there.

Re: Project Ground Pounder SRT Wide-Body Clone

So Hamze, do you plan on changing any of the gauge colors (speedo, MPH numbers, tach, etc)?

Or maybe I should ask, can you with relative ease? I'd like to be able to color match my lighting to my head unit.

Re: Project Ground Pounder SRT Wide-Body Clone

Matt, I think its fairly easy if you can get the gauge panel out and get to the cuircut board. Then just solder on the LEDs w/resistors.

Hello Brother!

Matt, i did do the dash in WHite to colormatch the gauges! i have the double din pioneer AVH p3150 which u can use up to 7 colors display, one of them is blue that perfectly go with white and the blue heater controls

I once opened the gauges to paint the gauge rings to colormatch my ride... now, the Gas gauge malfunctions now!

i am planing to see how to fix it ( if i can ) one day soon... so i hate to open that again... Scottina did open it once, gona ask him soon if they malfunction.... i GUESS you cannot change the color of the gauges they have the green part that will look awkward if you put a blue led in for example...

I did open today my Shifter bezel, and i realized i CANT change its color too , i closed i again , but tommorow i guess gonna re-open it and double check if i can squeeze some Led in there , notice how small the OEM LEDS are... i dont know if my 3mm leds do fit.
