Jlewissystem, I did have 6000k hids before and they had great light output. The main difference is that the light is more focused and less scattered therefore less blinding to oncoming cars. I have yet to be brighted so far!
Moneen, honestly the install was extremely easy. I did not have to modify anything for them to fit. I preheated my kitchen oven to 200 degrees F, placed each headlight on a piece of plywood and put in the oven for somewhere around 5-7 minutes, took them out and slowly began to pry the lens off. The glue dries pretty fast so i had to place the headlight back into the oven a few times until i was able to fully able to pry the lens off. Once apart, it took me at most 5 minutes to install the projector, then placed the housing back into the oven to remelt the glue, took it out, and put the lens back on. Held it together until the glue held and re-installed the headlight on the jeep.
