Re: Reverse Camera and Lowering passanger side mirror

I went with the backup camera from clarion. Great picture quality and easy to see at night. Couldn't be happier with it.

Re: Reverse Camera and Lowering passanger side mirror

but see, this is what i dont undestand its the same mirror housing... but it has a motor and a wire that connected to reverse and when you put it in reverse the mirror lowers... same thing as the camera... so theoretically i just need the motor that does the job and i could get someone to install it for me.... sounds legit no?

Re: Reverse Camera and Lowering passanger side mirror

You might need some extra wiring. All the jeeps that can do this feature just moves the mirror the same way you adjust it manually (with that motor). I cant remember what is needed for this feature. Search it on this site.

Looks like only 2005-2008 Limited, Overland & SRT can be programmed with the Auto-Tilt feature. Follow link below to read how to do it. I printed these instructions out and took them to the dealer and he did it using his scan tool.

Matt- that doublepress of the Uconnect to activate it, how do you set it to that on the Lockpic?
I think it works automatically, i cant remember if i had to change one of those switches to activate that feature
