Speedometer - Is this possible?

No matter how I adjust myself, my seat, or my steering wheel, I have problems seeing the speedometer. I usually shrug my head down to see my speed beyond the steering wheel, or under my hand/arm.

So, I'm wondering if there is any way to hook up a small speedometer somewhere else, but keep the original one in working order as well.

The smaller the better, and a digital speed reading would be preferred. I would love to be able to mount this somewhere that is not behind the steering wheel. Maybe on the driver's side "oh shit" pillar, or up where the sunglasses holder is.

Any thoughts? Suggestions? How-to's?

Inside my ride, for reference...

I can adjust my way of sitting so that the speedometer is viewable.

I can adjust the steering wheel so that the speedometer is viewable.

I can adjust my seat so that the speedometer is viewable.

But I don't want to adjust any of those things, lol.

I am comfortable the way I ride, so I want to find an alternative speed viewing source. Hopefully this GPS/MPH app I downloaded will be sufficient, if not I will look into adding a small gauge elsewhere.

I got an iphone, and I have a couple apps that I bought. One is ihud, it's a headsup display that works by putting the phone up against the windshield, and you can see the reflection of the speed, only works when it's dark though

 What about a cosmetic mirror mod?

Joking aside I am in the same boat. I like to set the steering wheel almost as low as it will go and while I am quite comfortable my view of the speedometer is mostly blocked. I am looking into a secondary gauge like the Ecometer as a strategically placed speedometer.

I have owned many vehicles and have never had a problem seeing the gauges until this one, mainly the speedometer. Jeep designed a very impressive 2012 GC, how they missed this in the design process is puzzling !

Sure you can get a clear view if you raise the steering wheel to a bus like setting or turn on the digital speedo but for me this is not something I prefer.
