SRT Rails vs Laredo Rails?

So, I see a lot of people buying or selling SRT roof rails. And I wonder what is so special about them? if I go by the pictures I have found, they seems to be the same ones I have in my 08 GC Laredo. If someone can elaborate on the difference.

Thanks

Re: SRT Rails vs Laredo Rails?

MOST wk came with a full roof rack.

some, like yours, came witht he flat rack delete. ALL srt8's came this way.

but, al the parts are exactly the same.

if yours look like this but are black plastic they are what is called srt8 rails. mine are smoothed and painted but its all the same.

Re: SRT Rails vs Laredo Rails?

I had removed my black roof rails to install some overland platinum roof rails. I noticed that with nice plugs for the mount holes, you could remove the roof rails completely rather than going out and buying SRT rails.

though the plugs can be flush, kinds like the ones that hold our grilles in place, and painted body color, just throwing it out there as an inexpensive option.
