Re: SRT Rear Bumper Tow Hitch?
The SRT rear bumper hangs down lower than your bumper and will cover your existing hitch. I've seen someone cut the bumper to make it work but I wouldn't do it. You'll need to remove your hitch and buy one made specifically for the SRT8. Most SRT8 tow hitches are a 1" receiver due to their limited towing capacity. If you want the 2" receiver you may have to have it custom made. I'm planning on using the Curtis Manufacturing Tow Hitch, Model 11103 (1" receiver) and having the new exhaust installed around it. I don't haul anything like a boat or trailer so it will only be used for bicycles.
Also, if you don't plan on changing your exhaust you'll also need to cut your tip off and install a turn-down tip so you're not blasting the backside of the bumper with hot exhaust.
