Re: Srt roof rails

I have a gloss black roof on my 06. I had the rails paint matched gloss black as well...really nice look. Satn just doesnt look right to me when the rest of the truck is glossy.

Re: Srt roof rails

If your getting the roof painted, why not have the body shop shave the roof so there are no bolt holes before they paint it. Then you wont have to buy the srt rails or have screws sticking up ontop of your roof.

I plam on getting the srt rails and painting them gloss black but its really up to what you like.

that would be great, but i think i'm gonna have it wrapped in gloss black, there is a great place near me that can do it with a great reputation so i may just try that first!

Re: Srt roof rails

Try the vinyl first is you like it eventually you might want to get it painted to match your vehicle. Im really looking forward to adding the srt rails and getting them painted. Before I added my OEM hitch i used to use the factory roof rails alot but now I can just tow stuff. I guess i can always switch back if i really wanted to for the winter.
