I drive down it in Cambridge almost daily in front of MIT then hook a right onto Main st. Im at the new MIT building going up on Memorial drive next to the Microsoft building where I usually park in front of all day.

Re: srt8 springs vs. eibach springs on 05 gc limited

My office is right across from the Galleria Mall. I go on Memorial drive and if I cant get a spot in front of the Microsoft building i'll keep going then get on Main street and just park at a 2hr meter. The meters closer to the T station are only 30 min meters and i keep racking up tickets. Lol

Oh yeah it's really bad out there for parking. I did the electrical over there at Biogen and at 5am it was a pita to find parking bro. So, alot of us ended up parking in the garage and paying 20.00 a day which sucked!

Thats how I get to either my office or the project im on. I head in on 93 then get off the storrow dr exit, go by the Museam then left by the mall onto Memorial dr. I dont go Mass ave off 93, in Boston. Too much traffic and lights. I used to when I had a project over next to Fenway, I was at the new apartment/hospital building on Boylston st after the McD's for about a year when it was being built.

My office did work on that building. I didnt, but we were hired by the owners to do the weather proofing inspections of the buildings envelope while it was being built, basically what I do. I have 4 $25 parking tickets in my car right now from just last week, I actually got double ticketed one time. I just hand them to my office and they bill the client, same with any mileage, meter or parking fee's I just write it on my time sheet and get reimbursed.

Re: srt8 springs vs. eibach springs on 05 gc limited

Parking meters are a scam by cities to make a crap load of money. Why the hell is there limits on how long someone can park at a meter anyways, its so they can mark your tire and bag you with a $25 ticket. which happens to me alot actually. Its 25 cents per 15 min, so $1 an hour for the meter yet they charge 25 bucks, shouldnt it be $8 at least for the cost of parking there 8 hours. Dam scam artists.

Its one of the benifits I guess. But with the construction industry slow lately I actually had to go without my raise which im pissed about. A huge Harvard project over in allston is stopping because of the economy, they are finishing up all the below grade work then capping it off. And that project is huge, like 7 foot ball fields big and was supposed to have a bunch of different buildings on it all connected below ground.

Re: srt8 springs vs. eibach springs on 05 gc limited

I know. I do electrical construction and I've been laid off for two months now. I worked for the largest electrical contractors in the Northeast. I worked on all large federal and state jobs. My ex company started laying off the early part of the year and I happened to get it at the end of the summer.. Can't complain though side work is great money plus unemployment.
