If not they make great ninja stars to throw at your buddies while under the influence of adult beverages, but can hurt like hell lol.

Re: Steel Armadillo?

I am not surprised you haven't heard of them. They have only been around for a few months now. They started out making just for the XK because it is less supported than the WK, but they are also including the WK now. I am supposed to be driving out to them next month to fit and test the rails! They are also one of the other companies with a hidden winch cradle in the works. They also might be making a rack similar to the Gobi. With all the companies starting to expand their lines or start producing for our platform, the next year will be very exciting! All this competition is great news for us.

Competition drives prices down! This company looks like they are headed in the right direction! I'll be on the look out this next year.

Ive contacted Jon to see about measuring the surfer n checkin these things out. I've been wanting something exactly like these since I've had it. Not only is there ample rock scrapage capabilities, but also side impact protection from sh*tty drivers!! Win win!

Re: Steel Armadillo?

They have the XK rails out now. The WK ones will be out in a month or two. It really helps that the owner of Steel Armadillo owns a XK and wheels it. The one in the pics on the website is his!
