Honestly you don't notice it till you think about it. My knees are beat up the most of all. Shin splints too and to consider I've never deployed or did anything like what you two have done.

So out of my CQ induced boredom, ive started to compare the v6 trucks from 2oo8 to the 3.7.

So far ive compared the 3.7 and 3.8 jeep motors to fords 4.2 and 4.0. And Gm's 4.3. And guess what....

The jeep engines pack a bigger punch per liter then the other guys but the numbers are still rather pathetic when you put it in perspective to the Japanese or euro v6 engines. So lets take a look at the numbers.

All crank numbers btw:
The 3.7 makes 210hp@5200 and 235 lbs-ft@ 4000. So when we take the numbers and divide by the displacement we get 56.7 hp per liter and 63.5 lbs ft per liter.

From there the 3.8 is a close second at 53.1/62.3 per liter
Fords 4.0 makes 51.7/59.5 per liter.
Fords 4.2 makes 48/61.9 per liter
GMs 4.3 makes 45.3/60.4 per liter

Funny thing is, i dont think a 3.7 liter jeep is the quickest. It makes the least amount of torque and its delivered too late in the powerband. The 4.3 makes 260 at 2,800
