Re: vht nightshade

I used it with good results in the past, clear coat is a necessity.

Re: vht nightshade

what kind of clear coat did you put? is it worth it to take it to get professionally clear coated?

Re: vht nightshade

Honestly I forget exactly what I used. I know it was a clear made for plastics. And yeah if you can afford it get it done professionally. The vht will not make the long run. Expect a year or 2 out of it. That was my experience at least. Then I had to redo it.

Re: vht nightshade

Please dont use that garbage.

Get a set of LED tails and a spare 3rd brake light, send it out to our vendor UR50SLO (email:UR50SLO@aol.com) and get them professionally done like I did!

Mine look great!

Tinted LED Tails Installed

Re: vht nightshade

I did mine with it, came out good. Clearcoat is definitely a necessity. Also ended up doing my front reflectors with it also, masked off my side marker lights, then painted them same color as the Jeep, kinda like Stillen covers. Overall, I'd say it depends on your capabilities and patience. If you're not sure about it, definitely get them done professionally.
