has anyone attempted to nightshade their taillights themselves?

I used it with good results in the past, clear coat is a necessity.

Honestly I forget exactly what I used. I know it was a clear made for plastics. And yeah if you can afford it get it done professionally. The vht will not make the long run. Expect a year or 2 out of it. That was my experience at least. Then I had to redo it.

I did mine with it, came out good. Clearcoat is definitely a necessity. Also ended up doing my front reflectors with it also, masked off my side marker lights, then painted them same color as the Jeep, kinda like Stillen covers. Overall, I'd say it depends on your capabilities and patience. If you're not sure about it, definitely get them done professionally.
