wanting to paint some plastic parts

hey just wondering if i want to paint so plastic parts on my car to the same color as my car, does it apply directly on or do i have to spray sometihng on before or after? or just the color coded paint directly on for a few coats?

Pretty much like a chrome piece, but with less prep sanding since its not reflective like chrome trim. I would also recommend removing it from the body to prevent anything from landing on the paint while it dries

HOW TO: Paint chrome trim
