Re: What did you do to your WK today?

YES!

Today the jeep got a new radiator, new spark plugs, front and rear diff services, transfercase service, transmission service, both filters AND a valve body... An ex-co worker misdiagnosed a trans that ended up getting replaced with a used unit, I snagged the new valve body he threw in the original trans and have had it just kickin around for like a year, figure trans service was a good time to throw it in, no real reason other than its new, I also have been told (but didnt inspect on mine) a pressure bleed land was added to the manual valve to slow pressure release into neutral to combat some noise and harshness...

The radiator has been leaking for about 1 month now, I have just been putting it off and it got to the point where it was only making it 3-4 days before I had to fill up the dry reservoir. I didnt actually want to put it off a month but I have had 2 weddings, a side job and a trip to the beach over the last 4 weeks so it has just been neglected. Hopefully it appreciates its fresh lube!

Filled her up with gas and washed her very good! Also enjoyed the nice 60 degree weather so I opened up the sunroof.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

New battery: Sears Die Hard Group 94R.

MOPAR Factory battery was 5 1/2 yrs old and failing rapidly. Started getting weird electronic indications, high charging voltage, and low open circuit terminal voltage.

Time for all you '08 WK owners to seriously consider battery replacement before the electronic gremlins start to come out of their hiding places (e.g., PCM and CAN bus).....thought you'd get a charge out of that.
